Mission Statement:
To bring Christ to the community of the University of Florida and Santa Fe College and to bring the community to Christ. This is the nature of a university parish such as ours. Notice that I say we are here to serve the academic community and not just the students. This community includes faculty, staff, students, alumni, parents and friends of the university and college. It includes all whose lives are somehow tied to these two schools. In effect, it encompasses practically everyone in and around Gainesville, as well as many who once called Gainesville their home.
In order to carry out our mission I have four clear goals. They are: to offer fitting worship to God, to grow in an understanding of and appreciation for our faith, to be of service to our community, our nation and our world, and to be good stewards of our resources.
