Junior Nursing major from Cape Coral, FL
Hello! I’m Chelsea! I’m a senior in UF’s nursing school and am super excited to serve you all as co-president of CSF. Ever since I left my hometown of Cape Coral, FL to attend UF, the Lord has put me on some of the wildest adventures. My faith has increased by the hundred-fold and I have only this blessed community to thank for that. Each day is grace! I never know what He has planned for me, but I’m just enjoying the ride. If you see me walking down the street, I’ll probably be smiling (probably about Jesus and probably because I’m heading to Mass, my favorite part of the day). Other things: I love to cook and am always experimenting in the kitchen. Chaos are a staple and so are cargo shorts. Singing is also one of my favorite ways to glorify God. Welcome Home!
Business Management Student (MSM) from Orange Park, FL
Hi I am Michaela Coughlin, Vice President for Catholic Student Fellowship. I am a fourth year student here. When I came, I was looking for a Catholic group to help me grow in my faith and God has provided more than I could ever have hoped for in the Catholic Gators! As hobbies, I love to play the piano, I like to run, and sometimes, when I am really organized, I will squeeze in time to make rosaries (if you need a new rosary or have a friend/relative that needs one, find me and ask for one!). Which leads me to, if you want to find me, I am usually at home or in the library studying, out for a run, or baking (yes, I like to bake too).
Senior Agricultural Operations Management major from Orlando, FL
Hello everyone! I'm thrilled to be the CSF Secretary this year. I got involved with Catholic Gators my sophomore year after joining a bible study and going on the Alpha retreat. I became part of such a loving family and continue to grow in my faith everyday. I hope all of you find a home within this community like I have! When I'm not at the church or Hurley, I usually hang out at Marston or fulfilling my coffee addiction at Dunkin Donuts!
Sophomore Health Science Major (Pre-OT) from Jacksonville, FL
Hi friends! I'm so excited to be the CSF Historian this year. Just 2 short years ago I would have never imagined I'd end up at the University of Florida and find such a home away from home like the Catholic Gators, but the Holy Spirit is always leading you to new places! My transition to college went smoother than I expected thanks to all the beautiful souls at St. A's, I hope you all find a home here too! When I'm not at Church or studying at Hurley, I'm usually going places in my Chacos, hanging in my ENO, or pretending I know how to cook.
Sophomore Industrial and Systems Engineering Major from Niceville, FL
Hi, y’all! I’m Elisa and I’m the CSF outreach coordinator for this year! I’m so excited for this opportunity to serve you and the St. A’s community. As cliché as it sounds, Catholic Gators is truly home away from home. Coming from a small town in the Panhandle (Shout out to Niceville) to a town where the school alone is 5 times bigger was a little daunting, but immediately the Catholic Gators community eased my fears. I’m hoping that anyone who comes to St. A’s will feel the same.
Some things to know about me are that I love long walks on the beach, sunsets, picnics, stargazing… oh wait this isn’t my eHarmony bio. I love Steelers football and Harry Potter, talking, talking, laughing, talking, making other people laugh and talking.
