Campus Ministry Assistant
After being born in Arkansas, a stint as a toddler model in Japan, and taking multiple speech classes to get rid of a Texan accent while living in Illinois, I made it to Florida in 2005 and to UF as an overwhelmed freshmen in 2013. I was fairly convinced that my purpose in life was to become a non-profit or NGO worker for a charity in Africa, but it turned out God had other plans. Halfway through my freshmen year I began to get involved with Catholic Gators, and through the fellowship and love of those I met at the student and center and some serious patience on God’s part, I slowly began to call the church my home. Through an unexpected turn of events I ended up graduating a year and a half early with my Bachelor’s in Anthropology, but God had been slowly working on my heart until, almost without me realizing, my dreams of being a great missionary had been replaced by an ardent desire to draw others to the Church the same way I had been. Thanks be to God I started working at the student center in January of 2016, and I am so excited to continue serving with the Catholic Gators and to see what adventures God has in store!
