Hi! My name is Molly Williams and I am a freshman here at the University of Florida. I am currently exploratory as I do not know what I want to major in yet. I am from a very small town called Palatka, Florida so coming to UF was a bit of a shell shock for me. The first Sunday I attended mass here at St. Augustine’s made me feel welcomed and loved, and allowed me to meet some of the nicest people. I have never been on a mission trip before and I feel called to go on CAP (Christian Appalachian Project) so that I can grow in my own faith and help give back to others. I believe that embarking on a trip like this one will help to strengthen my relationship with God and empower me to turn fully to Him. I am striving to grow in my faith and prayer life, and I believe this mission trip will be a beautiful opportunity for God to speak to me as I work to help those in need. God works in wondrous ways and I hope that this will be a time when He helps me to begin understanding the plan He has for my life. From March 4th-11th we will be traveling to Kentucky to assist in the construction and repair of low income homes. A total amount of $435 needs to be raised for me to attend this trip. I hope you will consider contributing financially to help make this mission trip possible; however, if you are unable I ask that you pray for me and the others traveling to Kentucky. Thank you!
