It is a mini-conference for our alumni!
Who: Catholic Gator Alumni
What: A mini-conference on the feast of the Sacred Heart.
When: June 24, 2022 beginning with Holy Hour at 4:30 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Where: At St. A's and online
Why: Because Jesus loves you and wants to draw you closer to His heart (and we do too!)
As our alumni leave campus ministry, they are still part of our family, just farther away. The mission our alumni have is the same: to make disciples of all nations, but now, that mission is to be lived out outside of the campus ministry family which can be immensely challenging. Not every parish has a thriving young adult, family, or adult ministry. Not every community is welcoming and investing in the alumni we send forth from Catholic Gators. Our alumni are still our family, they are still our sheep, and we desire to continue to invest in them, form them, and support them as they live out this call to discipleship in the unique ways the Lord is calling them. Thus, the idea for Back to the Heart was born.
How can we invest in them, support them, and continue to form them? By bringing them back to the Heart of Jesus and the home of Catholic Gators. By investing in relationships with them by making ourselves available, by providing a space to receive nourishment, inspiration, and practical skills, by listening to them and answering their questions. This is what Back to the Heart is, the first step in this. And so, we invite you to join us for our mini-conference on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart as we go back to His heart together.
For questions email our Campus Minister, Sandy DeTeresa, at sandy@catholicgators.org or our Development Director, Fernando Chang, at fernando@catholicgators.org.
