Pentecost Vigil Mass is at 7:30 p.m. on May 27!

Pentecost Sunday officially ends the Easter Season. What better way to transition back into Ordinary Time than to pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon us and our community here in Gainesville? The Pentecost Vigil is an opportunity for us to do exactly that. The Pentecost Vigil is a liturgy comparable to the beauty and length of the Easter Vigil. It includes an extended number of readings and texts that reflect on, in particular, the Resurrection, Ascension and the descent of the Holy Spirit. Let us come together once again to pray for the MORE of God. Just like the beauty of the Easter Vigil, come experience the beauty of the Pentecost Vigil. Come Holy Spirit and fill the hearts of your faithful. Set our hearts on FIRE. Amen!
