Marriage is a life-long partnership between a man and woman which is both for the good of the spouses and for the generation and education of children. Marriage shows the unity of Christ and His Body, the Church.

If you are engaged, congratulations! We are happy to help our parishioners prepare for and enjoy a blessed marriage in Christ.
Gail Fitzsimmons coordinates with couples for their initial orientation in the marriage preparation process and helps couples to keep track of their progress. Our liturgy team works with the couple to plan the ceremony when the wedding is at St. Augustine Church.
Before beginning marriage preparation, you should do two things: if you have not registered as a member of the parish, then please register to make it possible for us to guide you through your marriage preparation; and if you have not reviewed the diocesan marriage preparation page, please do so.
Please note that diocesan policy requires couples spend at least eight months in marriage preparation.
If you are interested in marriage preparation, please contact Gail to schedule your initial orientation.
