Brie Schentrup

Hey everyone! I'm Brie and I am the Religious Education Coordinator for our parish! I was born in North Carolina and moved to Gainesville when I was 13. I attended Gainesville High School, where I met and started dating my husband Joey, and then attended the University of Florida. In 2016 I entered the Catholic Church, receiving all of the sacraments through RCIA, and I have been super involved ever since. After college I taught in the public schools for a few years while getting my Master's degree in Educational Leadership.

I love teaching, especially when it comes to our faith, and helping people on their own faith journey. In my spare time I love cooking with my husband, golfing, anything crafty (especially crochet), and snuggling with my 2 dogs and hedgehog. I have also recently gotten into sourdough and love to talk all about it. I am a music feign and love learning about new songs. I enjoy getting caffeine and food with people and just generally getting to know everyone so feel free to stop by and say hey!
