I grew up in New Smyrna Beach, Florida (the shark bite capital of the world!) with two younger sisters and just a 10-minute drive away from the Atlantic Ocean. I moved to Gainesville in 2017 to attend the University of Florida, where I received my Bachelor in Microbiology with a minor in Music Theory and a Masters in Public Health. I also got slowly enveloped into the Catholic Gators community, especially through music, bible studies, and retreats. I grew to challenge, love, and learn so much about my faith during this time, as Christ invited me (and continues to invite me) to know and love Him and His people here.
When I am not around the church, I am often at WellFlorida, a public health nonprofit where I work in the community initiatives department. If you do bump into me around the church, I'll probably be humming or just outright singing a random hymn or tune. In my free time, I enjoy singing (no surprise), learning new instruments, reading, hiking, and martial arts. Feel free to ask me any questions about music (or microbes, I love microbes), or to just reach out and say hi!
