Melissa is currently studying Music Education at UF. She can be seen singing or playing the violin with the St. Augustine's choirs, but her principal instrument has been the carillon (Century Tower), which makes for a great fun fact. When she's not in class or at home, she can mainly be found at the church or Hurley or... no, that's it. As a student leader, former secretary of the Catholic Gators Art Club, ex-assistant of the music and liturgy teams, and current Liturgy Coordinator, she calls the parish and student center her second home. Though often seen frantically setting up for Mass/events/meetings or in desperate need of coffee, she is always willing to talk to people about becoming liturgical ministers or getting more involved in the community in general so that they, too, may come to see St. A's as a home.
