Sr. Josefina is originally from Appleton, Wisconsin, is the middle of five children, and grew up mostly in Wesley Chapel, Florida. She enjoys sports (especially volleyball!), music (i.e., alternative), good food, writing, praying (of course!) and making her sisters laugh. She joined the Mercedarian Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament in 2014 after experiencing a call to a more radical way of life at the age of 21. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2013 with a BS in Psychology and has since completed an MA in Theology.
