Sr. Kathryne of the Holy Trinity (aka Sr. Trinity) was born in Honolulu, HI, but moved when she was only 7-months-old. She grew up moving around a lot being in a Navy family, and now her family resides in Jacksonville, FL. She has one younger brother. At the beginning of her college years, she had a significant encounter with Our Lord Jesus Christ and resolved to give her life to Him before she even knew that this would lead her to become a sister. Sr. Trinity graduated from the University of Florida in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and received her Master of Arts Degree in Theology from St. Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology in 2019. (Fun fact: Sr. Trinity was a Campus Ministry intern for the Catholic Gators in the 2014-15 academic year.)
The Lord called Sr. Trinity to religious life, and she came to recognize the Eucharistic charism that the Lord gave her. She entered with the Mercedarian Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament in August 2015 and celebrated first profession of vows on August 15, 2018. Singing, reading about liturgy, cooking, and spending time in community are few of the things Sr. Trinity enjoys!
