Sr. Lourdes of the Holy Eucharist Furnells

Sister Lourdes of the Holy Eucharist was born and raised in a Puertorican family in Tampa, Florida. She attended the University of Florida as an Anthropology student. While she had many plans for her future the Lord had better ones which He began to unveil for her in her Junior year at the University. This would culminate in her graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and eventually entering with the Mercedarian Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament. As a sister she also completed a Masters of Arts degree at St. Mary's Seminary and Center for Graduate Studies.
